Designer Wear, labels etc

Do you really want to wear clothes jewellery etc with someone elses initials on them! Saw a friend today with new specs with large DG initals on the side, although they were expensive still looked cheap!!

I think it depends.

Some "labels" are well cut and fit superbly ... 7FAM jeans

Some are classics, and so well made that they will last forever ... Aquascutum

Some are fun, and you can get them at a good price in the sales ... Jimmy Choo

But others, I agree ...

Advertise their own name too garishly ... D and G

Are aimed at people with money, but no taste ... VB jeans

I bought a beautiful Louis Vuitton bag a few years back. It was a white goat leather bag. A friend asked why I didn't buy one with the LV monogram all over it. I didn't answer.
