What to do after graduation?

I am due to graduate (in Arts Management) this May but am having a hard time deciding what I should do when I finish. All my friends are in Leicester (where I attend university) and will be next year as well, so staying another year in familiar surroundings with good friends is an option although job prospects are none existant for what I want to do (dance events management/promotion). The alternative is moving away to a larger city on my own where there are better job prospects. The thought of going somewhere and starting all over again really scares me even though I know I'll have to do it eventually. Plus it's not a decision I can leave until the last minute as I need to find a house now if I am to stay in Leicester but if I'm not, then I need to tell my friends so they can find somebody else to live with (not to mention finding a job and somewhere to live if I do move away!). If anybody has any advice for me or if anybody has been in a similar situation then I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Forgive me, but it sounds to me like you are frightened.  For the sort of thing you will be qualified to do, I suspect the jobs are in the big cities.  I think you'll need to start looking at trade magazines to look at job ads;  there may be accommodation ads as well.  I think the best way is to put feelers out, start speaking to people in the trade or agencies as that's how information comes your way - as a start.

Moving away from the comfort zone into a big city where you don't know anyone can be daunting. It was the scariest but also the best thing I ever did. You have done it before, and may have to do it in a year or so anyway - go for it!
