Do your parents not know the answer to this question?
Question Author
Nope i've only ever been baby sat by family and friends no free lance person.
I would question why Lance would want to babysit for free.
No you dont, Its the companies that do CBR checks
Question Author
Well he has before. He (my cousin) used to babysit me.
Question Author
okies thanks, I may do a bit of baby sitting then. I've worked in a primary school (four and five year olds) and help out with the junior cadets (ten and eleven year olds) before.
can no one just answer mollys questions now without being sarchi or nasty?
Question Author
Honestly 4get, I found micks post amusing, considering one of my cousins is called Lance, who actually baby sat me for free (well he got a dinner and stuff from the fridge out of it)
Do you believe mollys parents didn't know the answer to this question then 4get?
It was meant to be amusing molly, not nasty. where did nasty enter into my answer?
Question Author
Well technically that's his name, its his middle name but he hates his first so everyone calls him lance.
dont try and back track mick you minx! Just get an advert in local newsagents molly about your babysitting services, lots of families are at loose ends for babysitters.
Question Author
I didn't say it was nasty. oh forget 4get.
No Molly, you don't.
People are more likely to want verbal or written references from people you know, or have worked for before.
Question Author
How much do they get?
Question Author
I wouldn't have a clue how much to charge per hour.
never said you were nasty, just thought it was sarchy mick. Soz if I jumped to conclusions but I've seen some pretty nasty things to Moll lately, like people just cant answer her question x As far as I know she's never been nasty on here to deserve it.
My daughter who is 21 babysat at your age..I think so long as its someone you know and theres contact numbers and agreed times for them returning and you getting home safely then I cant see a problem.
I also used to babysit and whoever I babysat for (although you get regulars) always phoned my parents beforehand to confirm.
Good Luck -people are always looking for sensible people like yourself for babysitters,
Question Author
What should i do about getting a reference from the primary school? its relevant isn't it? but I haven't communicated with them since I sent a thankyou letter for allowing me to work there.
£5 an hour???
