My husband doesn't believe me when I say it will be £1250 after tax and NI - I used two separate sites with salary calculators. Can someone please agree/disagree?!

Thanks!

Well... close enough!!! In my world - that's a win! ;-)
glad I could help in the start of a pointless argument lol
The facts that he's married and a man doesn't affect the amount of tax payable, though.
The figures assume a standard tax code
What did he think it would be?
don't you mean £12,500, I know the taxes are going up but to be reduced from £18, ooo to £1250 is extremely bad.
I assume they mean monthly take home Molly.
aahhhh could be.
Hmm! Well I am on just over £20,000 and I take home £1,115 per month!
Where is my extra £150!? :-/
Maybe you pay pension contributions or have some other deductions, wiggal
Nope! I dont pay anything towards a pension.

Ahh well, bit late too wonder about it now really!
Thanks for the tax calculator website, 4getmenot. It's really useful. Tequilamock, I agree with you,by the way!
