Halifax advert - are they still real staff?
I always understood that the staff in the Halifax adverts were all real staff. I mean they always plugged the fact that Mr Brown in the singing adverts was.
Todays 'Doctors' had a mad office manager played, I am 99% sure, by the same woman who does the 'Isa Isa Baby' advert for Halifax...

I recall having to watch a training video for Tescos many years ago while I was a collage, at the beginning of the video they announced that all people you will see in this video are real people and actors have not been used....It must be a huge coincidence that about half the "real people" that featured in the video went on to become actors and appear in things like the Bill and Eastenders!

When Howard was making the ads all the people were actual employees, if you recall they had thier names and branches captioned by them.
I don't think the currant crop are. If they are can someone please tell me in which branch the lady whose coffee cup breaks, works in? I want to open an account and make a deposit.

Change of strategy (they may have changed Agency) yhis year.
The ads featuring actual staff culminated in singing and dancing spectaculars - one featured a young Chinese-looking guy.
Perhaps due to crash and government bail out they have now scaled back to these painfully awkward ads which use professional actors just pretending to be inept staff members!
