The qualification itself is not required specifically for any particular job - it may well help in demonstrating that you have a particular " skill set " which may be required for a particular job.
You will find that any job requires only that the applicant has the required skills - and in some cases experience and then there are alos jobs which require specific proffesional qualifications eg a solicitor needs to be qualified.
Any area of work will be open to you, without a firm idea of just what you want to do I suggest that you contact the various departments which you think will appeal to you and ask if you can go in and "shadow" someone in work. That will give you a feel for what the work is like and may well gain you brownie points as and when you apply for a job. Good luck.
