suspension from work on full pay

i have been suspended from work on full pay.the next day i saw a doctor who signed me off work for one week. am i still on sick pay or does the sick note over-ride the suspension?

if you have a sick pay scheme, practically it won't make any difference in terms of money. However, your record will still show you were suspended
You have presumably been suspending pending investigation into some sort of incident. Such action is standard, and doesn't presume your guilt.
However the investigation into whatever it is that has caused the suspension will continue, irrespective of your sickness.
