Jobs With 2011 Census.

Has anybody on here applied for a job with the census next year? If so how far along the process have you got? I'm curious as I applied on-line and did the 'Siftability' about three weeks ago but I've heard nothing since.

Siftability? I guess what it means, but what sort of a word is that? - is this the official Government term?!

Thanks for the replies. 'Siftability' is an on-line kind of assessment where you figure out what to do in a series of hyperthetical situations. As the census doesn't begin until March I guess there is still time to hear something.

I applied and haven't heard anything either. Could this be because they won't need anybody until next year?

I applied online & completed Siftability test. Got email following day telling me I had successfully got through to next stage which will be a telephone interview. Had choice of 3 dates in December. Logged into website & selected my preferred date & time, then received confirmation email immediately. Did Siftability Tuesday evening, booked tel interview Wed evening - all this week. Maybe slower in some regions, I'm in Cumbria.
