Probably not, but then again, it depends on the job and how many qualifications you have. If you have a degree from a university, it is unlikely your employer will be bothered to check G.C.S.E results. But if you just have G.C.S.E qualifications, then these may play a more important role in whether you get the job or not. And the employer may check...

At the end of the day, you never know. But just remember that it is an offence to lie - the box on the app. form asks you to sign that the information you're giving is correct to the best of your knowledge...

If you go to an interview (up to about graduate stage) you will normally be asked to bring along certificates of education. I have taken them often and occasionally had them looked at. Certainly the military and the police want photocopies and so do check.
I guess these are your main qualifications? If so i would say there is a stong likelyhood that a prospective employer would wish to look at them.
They are very rarely checked, but should you be employed by that person and you fail to meet the standards expected, one way they could get rid of you is to see if you lied on your application- then you would be in line for Disciplinary action
Most of the 'good' jobs I have been for, have asked for proof of quals.
