getting disability living allowance means that you have to have had the problems for at least six months before you can apply, and you have to be fairly unable to do much to qualify for it (for example unable to cook a meal, unable, or virtually unable to walk, unable to wash or dress yourself)
if you can carry on either studying or working, that will probably be your best bet. The uni will have an access officer, and they willbe able to make things as easy as possible for you to attend. If you are still at uni now, there is also [robably a welfare officer who can advise you.
