hi, i drive for my local chinese takeaway, only on a fri and sat 6 till 10, and i love it, you get tips, and paid £1 per deliverey, and i get £5 an hour......it suits me. the only drawback is that they query if you too long on one drop, yuou have to know where the roads are good luck

thanks scannanna, thats the kinda thing i wanted to know. is it cash in hand? think i might phone my local chinese/indians//pizza places later.
I was sat behind one at the traffic lights on Saturday night. He had a bumper sticker that said 'Back off - I stick to the speed limit' and then proceeded to roar away from the green light as if he was participating in an important drag race.

Its probably a nightmare at first, knowing all the addresses and you'll have to get around quick.

I do taxi drving weekends which is similar. Finding the roads are easy enough, the hard part are working out the numbers on the doors in the pitch black!
Some are good employers and some are downright bad. My pal had a rotten experience when the ownership changed. Be careful who you choose to deliver for.

sounds like a job from hell!!
firstly not being able to make out the house/flat numbers in the dark, rough locations to deliver to, drunken customers, order mix ups. cant see why you would want this kind of job
