It's above the minimum wage, and if this is a part-time job while you are at school, then yes, it's a good rate.

That's so ridiculously bad, demand more, or leave for a higher paying job.  I know your only 15 and not entitled to minimum wage yet, but thats crazy.

I was a waitress when i was 15 and I got four quid an hour when minimum wage was like three, on a good night I also got around 30 quid in tips and I only got 4 tables.  So have a look around at other job offers.

it's not bad, actually, if you're getting tips on top of it. amongst my friends, pay per hour ranges from 3.60 to 5.90 and we're 17 & 18.

Pretty good for your age......plus tips?.....plus meal breaks?.......don't complain too much.   Sounds very reasonable for pocket money.
No, its crap. I know this is a politically incorrect thing to say, but it is. Your employer is paying you 3 hour for the very simple reason they can get away with it because of your young age.

The minimum wage for 16 and 17 year olds is 3. See www.dti.gov.uk/er/nmw/

Seems to me that's a reasonable rate for a 15-year-old, even more so if you get tips too. After all, someone has to get the minimum wage, right? That's not to say others don't pay more - you may well get to hear about such things on the grapevine at work.

yep, i only get 3.50 an hour and i am 16
