Entry requirements to new college
10 Answers
I've automatically got a place in the new sixth form college, even if i fail they'll put me on AS courses again (hopefully it won't come to that).
But i was looking at they're entry requirements for year 11s and if they want to get in, it seems as if doesn't matter if they got 4 A*s, in the four subjects they want to do if they failed the rest becuse each grade is given a numerical value, and you have to work out your mean grade and if you don't get an average of middle B, they have to have an extra interview with you and if you're average is less than a C you have to have the extra interview and some kind of entrance exam.
Have you ever known this, non of the two sixth forms I applied to (one of which is kinda the same 6th form as this one, did this)

But they've guaranteed that we'll be able to do the A2s properly ie the same specification aslong as we get good enough grades. But when i applied in year 11 I didn't have to work out my average grade.
