I wish to replace my existing boundary fence but the owner of the adjoining field objects to anyone putting one foot onto her property.

What is the legal position please.

Are there any laws on changing street names?

Unless "reciprocal rights" exist (allowing each party access to each other's land), it's probably not worth the aggravation. You'd have to show that the land has always been accessible for maintenance etc.

I've had this before. Just erect the fence "overhand" from your side only.

There is the access to neighbouring land act but tbh it is a costly and laborious road and unless it is a big job just not worth it.

It is possible to errect a fence from just one side and a good fencer will be able to do it.

If it is a field will she really know you have been on her land? Anyway the postie must have a hard job :)
