property damage on delivery

I had a bed delivered to my house and the delivery men put a hole in my wall and marked all my ceiling. They have filled the hole and have offered us 2L of similar paint. I do not feel this is acceptable and don’t see why i should have to pay for my hall stairs and landing to be redecorated due to their damage.
Please can you advise me of where I stand?
