I won't go in to much detail with this as it's complicated.

I was apart of the police investigation from Feb 2010 to
March 2011, it went to the crown court in Nottingham and
my step dad was found guilty of several child sex offences
against me and my cousin. The trial ended in March but
since then I have been having problems with my family,
most of them have turned there back on me and one of my
brother's is constantly making allegations against me to the
police of harassment. When the trial did end I did sent him
a message via facebook and the police did come and
warned me not to say anything else and I haven’t! Last
week when I was out the same police officer came banging
on my door demanding me to come out (friend told me),
when I got back I seen there was a card so I contacted her
but she did not respond but I did contact HQ and they said
they would get back to me. Today she got back to me and
says I need to go to the local police station.

I am sick of these silly games from my family, I have done
nothing wrong and I am being treated like ****! What
rights to I have when I go in and “ talk “ to her? I am
thinking of making a complaint against the police for the
way they have handled this. I am also wondering if I
should get a solicitor? I have nothing to hide but I will take
legal action myself

Keep a diary of all the incidents and perhaps see if there's a way you can file some sort of injunction.
what have you to compain about the police? i can't see from your account they have done anything wrong! One person didn't get back to you when they were supposed to
the police have only done their jobs. your problem is with your family. talk to a solicitor but this is probably harassment.
I meant an injunction and diary of the family incidents rather than the police since they are the ones causing a problem. Just realised I could have probably made that more clear.

The problem I have with this police is how they have acted, I have had 4 complaints made against me to the council regarding the police banging on my door and shouting my name for over 10 mins when I am clearly not in.

I got arrested last night and I was released one hour later with no caution what so ever.

"I won't go in to much detail with this as it's complicated" so are we to assume that the details are the reason for the police turning up at your house?

Mark, as I said, my whole family have turned there backs on me when I have not done any thing wrong, they are constantly trying to get me in to trouble with the police and the local council by lying and making my life hell, it's complicated in that respect and it's too much to write on here.

redcrx* sorry
i'm afraid you can't really make a complaint about the police knocking on your door either - they are following up complaints which for all they know could be completely legit.
Funnily enough if you are law abiding then you get no harrassment from the Feds.

Innit
@jimmycooper -what an utterley naive and stupid comment - you can be perfectly law abiding but have views, political or ethical, that make you a target for police harrassment. I have PERSONAL experience of this - 50 something middleclass professional female, demonstrating, within the law, against the abject flaunting of the anti-hunting laws, arrested and put in a cell DNA taken without one iota of evidence or witnesses, go through 4 months of hell on bail, for a magistrate to basically throw the case out and say I was free to go - the police pick on easy targets to get their arrest figures up - they are all a bunch of *ankers. nOTTINGHAM89 I say go to Citizens advice and make a formal complaint against the Police -you are a VICTIM and do not need police banging on your door -GOOD LUCK!
