Mac OSX 10.5.8
Netgear router N300
iPad 16gb wi-fi

The set up procedure recognises the router and automatically enters IP Address etc on next page but calls for -Search Domains? and Client ID? then stalls.

(Internet sharing is off on Mac as no Port is specified??)

And as for DHCP/BootP/Static choices ,Renewing lease and HTTP proxies Off/Manua/Auto i'm completely lost.

In my ignorance I had assumed that an IOS system would be like selected internet access on a TV - just the password and you're away .

Any help would be appreciated.

A Merry 'stressfree' Christmas to everyone!

I'm way out of my depth here but perhaps one of these links might help?

Im sure that fills itself in once it confirms your wifi

I have a belkin router and my ipad's "search domain" is listed as "belkin"
the client ID is blank

Im sure once I connected my wifi, I was pretty much on board
When I got my I just turned wifi on, chose my signal and put in the password, it was simple.
