I recently bought an item via Amazon ( have always had great service from them) - the product arrived and I'm not happy with it. It's a camp bed and once put together is very unstable - it wobbles and looks unstable - not at all suitable for me as I'm 'of a cerain age' and not at all happy to try and sleep on something I'm not happy with.. I immediately contacted the sub contracted company to say I was not happy and received a dismissive reply which almost equated with 'what's up!' - when I replied to this expressing my dissatisfaction with the product and requesting the contact details of a superior I got a mailer daemon notification. There is a 7 day period for sorting queries.Do I have an issue with the actual company who supplied the product or do |I have an issue with Amazon?
Ab advice greatly appreciated

mailer daemon usually means the address is not valid - did you hit reply or type in the address manually? if the second try again and copy and paste it

some places send messages but you cannot reply to that account - check the bottom of the message and see if it says do not reply to this address

otherwise, contact amazon asap to ensure you have started proceedings with in the 7 day limit.

thank you joko I really appreciate your advice.
Go to Amazon website , go to Your Account, go to Orders section.

Look at More Order Actions and choose Return items or gifts. Chose New Returns and follow the instructions from here on to print a returns label. Pack it up and send it pack for a refund.

I've never had any questions asked or problems in getting a refund. I bought a Kindle once, used it, got bored of it and sent it back for a full refund! Hope it works for you too.

The camp bed would have been supplied under the distance selling regulations, compliance with which is a legal requirement, your seven days for inspection and cancellation of the contract commence the day after receipt of goods and do not include weekends or bank holidays. This period is given as you have not had the opportunity to inspect the goods prior to placing the order as you would have normally.

If you placed the order with Amazon you should be dealing with Amazon. If the goods are faulty or do not comply with the contract you cannot be charged for the return. I understand Amazon have a good reputation which they are anxious to preserve so you should have no difficulties.
