sent 3 items back to isme in same parcel. they received one back but not other 2. I have been trying to resolve this since December 2012 and still trying to get it sorted. sent least 60 emails. isme recently told me to send them my original returns receipt from post office which I did recorded delivery and was signed for in march 2013 so they could make a claims with the post office. then was told they could not help me.
so I contacted someone else again at isme to go through all this again and was told all I could do was make my own claim with the post office so I told this person twice now that I cant do this as isme has my receipt. she replied back to me by letter saying nothing she can do but make my own claim. I am wondering is she stupid or just not reading my letters to her. THAT I DO NOT HAVE THE RECEIPTS TO DO SO AS ISME HAS THEM AS THEY HAD ASKED FOR THEM.
I am beginning to wonder if isme are pulling a scam as they not I cant claim without the receipts, so they expect me to pay for items which I returned. they are now expecting me to pay and now adding charges to my account as well. I feel badly treated by them as they had my receipt as requested and still do so how could I possibly made my own claim and besides the deadline has way gone to make a claim. I also have never signed any credit agreement with them if this makes any difference. Any help most welcome

unless the item was outrageously expensive, myself I would take the lesson and move on, The lesson on this case being to always keep copies of things like receipts before you hand over to other people. Sorry.
I don't understand why you returned the parcels via Royal Mail - ISME offers several methods of returning goods - all free.
Never part with your receipt, without that you have very little.
This doesn't help you, but I would never ever part with original postage receipt. When I've had to make a claim in the past for things allegedly not delivered, I've sent a copy of the receipt.

Did each item in your parcel have the delivery note and details of your account number and name and address in it? The package might have come adrift in the mail so they received things with no ID on them, in which case they wouldn't know it's yours.

How much are we talking about in terms of value? and why have you left it a year? Credit agreement makes no difference unless they are sending you statements demanding instalment payments. Did you pay up front for these items?
Boxy she hasn't left it a year, she says she has been trying to sort it since Dec 2012.
As I understand it, dibella hasn't paid for the goods and the company are hassling her for payment.
She believes she doesn't have to pay because she returned the goods but can no longer prove it as she sent the receipt to Isme.
No, I realise that, it's been going on a year.
So was the receipt sent by registered post, so the OP can prove they received that letter?
...and as I read it, isme have received one of the items in the parcel, but say they've never seen the other two. So they either got the parcel, or they didn't - if they received one item, they can hardly say that dibella has to make her own claim for non-delivery of the return, if they were all in the same parcel?
but they only have dibella's word that she put all three things in one parcel
Even if isme were to return the receipt I can't see any claim to the post office/royal mail succeeding, since the parcel did arrive at isme
If she had the receipt the amount charged for postage would be a good indication how heavy the parcel was which could prove she did post the three items.
Ah - unless it was one of those catalogue labels where you don't pay anything because the company pays returns, but you just have to get PoP - that seems to happen a lot when I'm in the PO queue.

I've no idea what (if anything) dibella can do next, without any proof....
What is the value of the goods, di?

They were sent back through the post office as had many problems with the courier not turning up when expected and used post office before. Isme did acknowledge they received my receipt that I sent back to them by recorded post I only sent it as they said they needed it to make a claim as it never had a barcode on it. the value of goods were £390 they were only returned as they were not as described. the items were not paid up front they were going to be paid for monthly.
