Does anyone know if I would be liable to pay my maternity pay back if I was to leave my current post during maternity leave to move to another NHS Trust?

which says you dont have to repay.

It is worth checking with RCN / Unison - for TUPE purposes change of NHS job is taken as continuous employment. ( so your first two years still attracts protection which it wouldnt if it were a new job )
You do not have to pay back SMP but if your employer pays more than that you will need to check your contract, some Companies have a clause where if you do not return for a certain period they can claim back the difference.
Would it not just count as a transfer if you are staying within the NHS?
