Hi, is it possible to find out if someone in my area has been married locally within the last 6 months ? Thank you.

you could probably if they were married in a church because they would have had to have read the BANNS 3 times and kept a record of it in the parish register and then also there would be a record on the register of a marriage certificate after that date , I don,t know how it is recorded elsewhere though you could try the registrars office

You need to ask the registrars for the district in which the marriage took place - they will charge about £10, more if you want the answer in a hurry
