My wife is 74 so PIP will not apply. She gets DLA but I cannot find any information about whether there has been any changes to DLA payments in 2016 compared to 2015. She gets the higher component on all parts.
Can any one help - I can't find a more relevant Topic title in Answerbank.
Thanks.

There are no changes to the rates, I believe they have been frozen.
She should have received her annual notice of entitlement which shows the current rates have not changed.
My wife gets DLA as well and we have not been notified of any change.
The increase in DLA each April is determined by the rise in the Consumer Prices Index over the 12 months up to the previous September. Since the CPI actually when down in the year to September 2015, there's no increase in DLA this year.

Thanks to all for your replies - not good news but we understand now why there has been no change to the rates. Shame the DLA Unit did not explain that in their correspondence.
