Can I Claim Rent When On Pension Credit

my partner and i are splitting up. My daughter and soninlaw have offered to buy him out. they would have to take out a second mortgauge, so have asked if i were on Pension credit, whichi will need to be as i only have old age pension, when they charge me rent would i be able to claim rent allowance.

Housing Benefit (HB) cannot be paid if you and the landlord(s) are close relatives living in the same property.

The answers are unwelcome but as far as I can see are correct.
You cannot claim rent from the govt if the landlord is your daughter or else everyone would do it. I think it is LHA ( local housing allowance)

It looks as tho you get made up to £712 a month which frankly isnt much to live on.
rent but it has to be rent can be claimed for and is around £600 a month (manchester) but that doesnt give you anymore
and yeah the future looks bleak
