I have recently became aware of a web site that states that there is a number of unclaimed or abandoned land and properties arround the country, and that anyone with the know how can make a claim on it and become the owner. Has anyone else come upon this and more importantly, has anyone ever made such a claim. What does this entail and is it worth while, or is this some kind of con?

First off you have to go to land registry just to check that it is not down with them of course you dont mention to them what your doing. If the land is not registerd you put a 6ft high fence around the boundry and you have to keep it in good condition for 5 to 7 yrs. In that time if no one comes along to claim it. You then go down and register it as yours. A friend of mine has done it several tmes and its made him millions he turns them all into flats.

Why does it always have to happen to "a friend" if you're so sure of this method and if you "friend" has made so many millions off it, why havent U dont it yet? :)

Wait, dont answer... Because it DOESNT WORK!!! lol
Hi there.
I actually apporoached a similar website (www.claim-land.co.uk) when I wanted to make a claim.
I followed there guide and I am now the legally owner of some land at the bottom of my garden.
So it DOES work, and its not that hard.....

Just visit their website at http://www.claimfreeland.co.uk
