How long should you wait before sleeping with someone? What a reasonable amount of time without lookin like a sl*pper. Purelyj ust opinions Im looking for- Like a mini survey so to speak. ahem.
:O) Not quite yet Nat- but usually I jump in waaay to quick so Im trying to play it by the books this time ! Got yer outfit sorted? You need freckles and hair in pigtails too of course
Well,I think the 1st date gives the wrong impression(even thought we've all done it) and possibly the 2nd too,but after that if you are both grown adults I don't see the problem nyself.
Hard to say because it depends on the girl, and indeed the man, but I wouldn't automatically think a girl was a slapper just because she went to bed with me on the first night, nor would I necessarily think she was classy for waiting a few dates. It's all just a small part of the composite impression you give him. You can look cheap and easy and never go to bed with anyone, ever.
Just go with the flow and when it feels comfortable, I'm sure you'll know. Enjoy :)
If I slept with a woman on the first date I would be wondering how many first dates did she have and did she sleep with them all on the first date, I would not have a great deal of respect for her. I would rather wait as long as was needed for both partners to be completely at ease with the situation, whether that may take 6 week, 6 months or six years. OK, forget the the six year bit!! I am still a man :-(
It depends on how the evening goes..and how you feel.
I slept with Mr P on our first date. We had been speaking on the phone for the previous 6 months so we weren't complete strangers, and we knew each other from when we were younger.
Would I have still slept with him without all that? most probably ;o)
If a woman chose to sleep with me on a first date, that's impulse - or I just put it down to my animal magnetism and charisma(!) I wouldn't think any less of her than she would of me, it just depends how good it was!
Ok,Well I slept with my partner the first time we spent the evening together - I had known him for a week beforehand and had seen him every day through work.He moved in with me a month later and 2 years on we are still together.
Yeah I agree with pippa on this, I've never subscribed to the idea that a bloke is " a bit of a lad" and woman is a "5lut" when they both behave identically. Mind you I can see the value in purely recreational sex, I don't think every sexual experience you have should be in search of your one and only true love, I think it's perfectly fine to see a gorgeous, sexy person and want to release some animal behaviour with them :)
