Finding copyright owners.

I want to find the copyright owners of a series of magazines, published during the 1980`s. I have comprehensively tried all the normal sources, but have drew a blank in every case. Any ideas, please? 711.

I know its not exactly the answer you were looking for but I had to search for a registered trade mark owner a few years ago.

I contacted the law society in London who gave me a list of solictors who deal with trade mark issues and the law.

I don't know if a registerd and regulated copyright organisation exsists.

I don't know if you have tried contacting the pubisher or its holding company, I would try companies house in London and see if the company still exsists, if it does you may be granted a licence to publish.
