where does the law stand regarding moving out of an ex partners house,which has just been kitted out by yourself and you are being refused entry to claim back your goods,some of the goods on h.p.and all reciepts kept safe?ta

if it is her house she can refuse entry. however if you still have recipts for goods purchased by yourself you would be enyitled to get these back, i have been told that the police may be required otherwise she could ring the police herself and get you arrested for forced entry. the other option is the small claims court a bit long and expensive! if you canot reason with your ex. i would contact the police good luck!!
