Leaving details following very minor bump

Just wanting to settle an argument - If you bumped another car but left no damage, are you still legally required to leave your details with the owner of the other vehicle?

If there's no damage I don't see the point of leaving your details as no-one is going to claim for anything.

Thank you - thats what I thought :-)
Sorry to be a pain in the arse but sometimes a minor accidental bump can dent underneath plastic bumpers but the bumpers spring out again, but certainly if there is no damage underneath or on top then your in the clear.

Oh yeah course i know what ur saying, i meant somewhere where there is obviously no damage. The worry is, is that if you do leave your details just in case, and then the other person could make a false claim. Just isnt worth the hassle.
