im a bus drive ive held my lisence for 1year 10months, in january i ws coming along linlithgow high street the traffic was quite busy the was a drain in the middle of the otherside of the road cordand off and cars were haveing to come onto my side of the road i progressed slowly down the high street as some cars were tryin to squeze past i got to just outside my depot window when a guy came running out from nowhere infront of the bus i was stopped at this time he noted down the reg of the bus then shouted at me to open the doors so i did he was shouting you just hit my car, i had no idea of this happening i told him i didnt relise i had, he shut wel what are we going to do abt it i told him to go into the office and we would get it sorted out, i went into the deopt my boss had sen him outside shouting at me an so on and asked what it was about i told him, the man then came round an my boss went to deal with it, i was told the man was very angery and did not swap details, about a month later the police came round about this incodent we ot it sorted out and they siad it would be left for the insurance companys to deal with but a few days later they came back saying someone higher up wanted it taken further so i got charger with driving with out due care and atension, failing to stop and failing to report. i later found out it was a sheriff at linlthgows courts car that i had hit. my lawyers say he has made an agreement with the pf that i pled guilty to driving withut due care and get off with the other two, do you no what it likely to happen if id lose my lisence or not, as i really need it for my job no lisence no job, my trial is the 23rd

Listen mate - it sounds to me like you are up against a heavy dude - (sherif of somewhere ? Yawn!).

He will be well briefed in court stuff and I guess you are not?

My advise would be to employ a brief to defend you in court. Your employer - (the bus company) - if they are any good - should be prepared to support you with this.

Ain't life a bitch?
saxo, get a solicitor, your bus co or their insurers will do this 'cos there will be a claim against them.
if he didn't swap details with you at the bus depot then maybe he had something to hide???

then get someone to show you how to use 'spell check', it makes it easier for us to read.
