consent order

dear legal beagles

i have a consent order in place with my ex wife which says she gets a part of the proceeds from the sale of our house ( its registered only in my name). we are already divorced. she has returned overseas with the children (i am following as soon as the house is sold) and left me to complete selling the house. because she wanted to leave and not return she lifted the matrimonial charge off the home title, under the arrangement that she will receive her portion of the money when the sale goes through. does anyone know if my solicitor (house) has to divide the money at the point of sale? since we did not involve solicitors in our divorce, does anyone have to be involved over the consent order? the plan was to exchange all the money at one time through one account and then split it up once i got there (which will be as soon as the house is sold), to benefit with foreign exchange and to facilitate that she is no longer in the country. thanks
