Do you live in Frome, Somerset?
1 Answers
I am considering moving from the south-east to the west country and am researching possible areas to live. Frome sounds absolutely great and caters for the things I'm interested in (two theatres, a live music venue, surrounding countryside etc) but I was wondering what it is like to live there and in particular:
Does anyone commute from Frome to Bath/Bristol/other major towns?
If so, what is the commute like?
What is the public transport like generally?
Are there particularly nice parts of town to live/places to avoid?
Do many people work locally (within Frome)?
I'm planning to visit for myself in February, but wanted to get an idea from people first.
many thanks

Bristol and Bath are both good for theatres, ok for live music, its not really included on big tours but for medium and small gigs they are both pretty good.
Bus services to Bristol and Bath, or at least used to have. It's not a bad sized town but everyone I know who lives there work in Yeovil or Brizzle.
