the new holiday entitlement

i know that the entitlement for holidays was increased in october 2007 from 20 day to 24 days. within my business ,like many others, our hoilday period runs from april to march. with the extra holiday entitlement coming into effect in the middle of the holiday year are my staff still entitled to the extra 4 days this year?

6 months between October and March, so an extra 2 days holiday

This holiday allowance INCLUDES back holidays though so as long as you are allowing them to take them off now you don't have to increase their holiday allowance to 24 days.
