my partner is currently 2 weeks into a 6 week prison sentence for driving disqaul, apparantly another prisoner has mentioned to him about an 18 day early release scheme, which some prisoners are entintled too, this sounds a bit too good to be true.does anyone know if there is such a thing?

He will only serve 21 days anyway. The other half of his sentence will be served "under supervision in the community".

no, im sorry i should have said he was actually sentenced to 6 mths in the first place, he is in a cat D open prison, he is also in the process of applying for Tag (HDC). i Dunno if he"ll actually get this though coz if you have broken court/ supervision orders before surely this will affect you.
