Hi, I have been separated from my ex girlfriend for nearly 4 years now. We have signed and completed a separation agreement and have a legal charge in place regarding our house. I have no financially responsability for the mortagage and it was agreed that upon completion of the separation agreement my ex would seek to get my name removed from the mortgage. This has been an outstanding action for over a year now. Can I legally get my name removed from the mortgage without her concent? If so, how do I go about it?

When i separated from my ex, he had to sign a form consenting to his name beig removed from the mortgage and I then had to take out a new mortgage in my sole name and also my solicitor had him sign a paper agreeing that he had no further interest in the property
