Hi, for the last two yrs i have been been have problems with a woman who keeps, sending threating text messages and has put false information out about me i,e has set a face book account in my name with nasty comments about me and my family, she has attacked me in my work place causing me to have to change jobs. There are to many incidents that have happened to list. The police have done nothing but given her a warnings. Other than move away (from my family and friends) I don't know what to do.

Is there a particular reason behind it where part of the solution may lie in the problem?

Could you go for a restraining order? In essence it can't stop her being a nutter but if she continually breaks it then at least there may be things that the court can do to enforce it.
