Stupidly I've forgotten to cancel a standing order for my old rented accomodation. It goes out tomorrow, but the payment is already showing on my online banking. Is there a last minute way to stop these transfers?

No. You could call the Bank tomorrow and ask them to recall it, they may do it for you on this occasion or they may say that you are too late and will need to get the money back from whoever you have sent it to.
