hi buildersmate, i did win the case and the application for a restriction on my property was cancelled but now i have received a letter from the claimants solicitor asking when am i going to pay him the monies 'I owe him', my solicitor wrote back and basically said get stuffed we have won the case and this matter is now closed. So apparently the ex is now going to issue court proceedings for an secured debt - being monies he thinks he is due. So Im wondering whether when I am served with the court papers, do I dispute his claim or to a counterclaim for monies I paid out for his debts when we lived together. Hope this makes sense, I am totally brassed off with it. I thought was the Adjudicator had made his decision that would of been it, but his solicitor is like a bloody pit bull! Mind you whilst he still acting for the claimant its a nice little earner for him.
