Difference between Tennant in Law & Tennant in Common

Hi

I seem to remember in a relative's will it made a difference to the split of the property they owned if they divorced whether her and her husband were Tennants in Law or Tennants in Common.

I don't know what the difference is and wondered if anyone does and could explain it to me please?
