Can I publish personal letters that I was sent to me in the year 2000 by primary school children on sheltered accomodation

I'm not sure what you are asking, sorry.
He's asking if he is entitled to publish personal correspondence sent to him by children 9 years ago. I would have to presume the answer is yes unless there was some expectation of privacy on the part of the writers but I'd wait for better advised legal eagles to give an opinion.
It wa sthe bit about Sheltered Accommodation I didn't understand. Were the letters were on the topic of sheltered acommodation?

I used to be a scheme manager of scheltered accomodation, and I did an event called around the world in eight flats and invited children from the local school to participate in coming to the scheme, eight of my tenants dressed their flats and themselves up in a particluar country and supplied food and drink for the children from the different countries, later they all individually wrote a thank you letter about their day addressed to me, when I read them last week I thought how lovely this would be as a book, some comments were so funny regarding old people and living in sheltered properties.
