Hello I'm not sure whether this is the right section to ask question.

I'm UK permanent resident but my husband is English (British national). We would like to buy/own a house in France. I understand that my husband will have no problem to buy and own property in France. But can I buy/own a property in France too (we are thinking of having it in joint names)?

For your information ... when I visit France (or other European countries) I need to have a visa for that/those country/ies prior to leaving UK.

Would you please advise me on this?

Thanks.
