Maternity leave & Holiday pay?
4 Answers
I am due to go on maternity leave at the end of august. My holidays at work run from April to April and I will not have used it all by the time I go on maternity (and if I don't use it, I lose it!!!) Will my employer pay my owed holiday when I leave on maternity. As I understand it, I will keep accruing it. Or would it be better just to take my leave now?

I was also given holiday for the time on paid maternity leave, entering into a new holiday year. I think in the end I was allowed 7 weeks in one go. Not sure, if thats a legal thing or just a nice company!
i used my whole years holiday before my leave. finished up in the middle of march but my maternity started round about 20th april last year
i was then made redundant when my maternity ended but it had gone into a new holiday year, so i got my redundancy plus the holidays built up whilst on maternity
