Does anyone out there know what the guidelines are in East Sussex for children's (opposite sex) are for sharing bedrooms?

Hi Eddies1, that may be in some guidelines about overcrowding but I think it's pretty meaningless isn't it in most cases. If it's a private home is someone going to prosecute/insist you buy a bigger house? If it's a council house/flat it may help your claim for a different council property but won't guarantee anything.

Sorry for delay to answering I alwasy forget to subscribe to my own threads - yes the children are siblings,

It's a two bedroomed house - mothers divorced, and is in the process of looking for a bigger place, but funds and a unsympathetic father (and we all know how good the CSA as was are) are leading to a financial shortage.

So as a rider( have I spelt that correctly) are the local council obligated to help?
