the dreaded march of hate has been called off by Choudhary himself, apparently there was also widespread outrage from the decent hard working and upstanding Muslims of this country
Bobbi ♥
Well I'm glad some Muslims spoke out. Choudhary ought to have better sense, protest if you like but at least give some thought to the place you will be protesting in. Especially as the town didn't want to turn this into a political issue.
I agree with you fender, tell me jake, are you happy with the situation in your country, the added security, body scanners, disrespect to Judges, hateful rants in Hyde Park?
Is this the enviroment to bring your kids up???
Oh I dare say Iran isn't far away if they don't do as they're told!
Seriously you don't feel even slightly hypocritical saying that these people should go to an Islamic country after two invasions of muslim countries in 10 years?
well I for one have never hated the Irish, presumably you are talking about NI and the troubles?
please just give me a good reason why these people should be allowed to incite trouble and hatred and why you think it is wrong to speak out against it
Good.
I was all set for an early night last night after Above Suspicion.... then came on News at 10 with that Chowdary fellow talking to (at) the father of a dead boy soldier. I was seething....
Not sure which laws they've broken. If you're referring to the laws on incitement to racial hatred, seven extremist Muslims are currently up in court (as reported on the BBC last night) for just that.
the young 23 yr old from my village, David Watson is being repatriated as we speak, home in a wooden box, so j.t.p you will forgive me if I can't share your warped thinking
They're not telephone - they were going to have a march.
Just that where they wanted it was going to upset all the jingoists that had been stirred up by the media.
It simply amazes me that 90 year after being told that Germans were nasty brutes bayonet babies that people are still letting certain media types play on their patriotism and stir them up like this.
Jake, do you think the planned march (by Choudhary) should have been allowed to go ahead?
How about one I'm planning through Bradford carrying an effigy of Mohammed with a bomb on his head to protest against people that have been killed in the name of Islam?
Ae you fluffing mad..JTP, I do not hate the Irish, now you run along and have your shower, is it all getting too much for you?
btw, how dare you tell me I hate anyone, after the way you side with bloody extremists!!!!
Not standing up before a judge, inciting racial hatred, making women use seperate entrances at mosques, imigration laws, employment laws to name just a few!!!
"after the way you side with bloody extremists!!!!"
Nice try. A common tactic, that. Basically, when people aren't quite as hysterical and knee-jerk as you, you (deliberately or ignorantly) confuse their more rational approach with sympathy or affinty or outright support for the people you're gunning for.
Don't worry. Several other people on this site employ the same black-and-white tactic. And it is panto season still.
