I have booked a motorbike holiday this year in Canada,but for two days we travel into the USA.
Eight years ago i revived a police caution but looking at the paper work after five years its done with.Do i have to apply for a visa or just fill in the waver when we get to the boarder?

What was the caution for? That makes all the difference in the world, in US legal eyes anyway. They do not recognise our rehabilitation laws so 5 or 8 years is irrelevant - if it's the wrong sort of crime you, strictly speaking, need a visa, and will do for life.

There are those who say they won't know anyway if you don't declare it. They may be right.

The caution was for carrying an offensive weapon in public.
