Refunding or freezing a car insurance policy
I have built up a no claims bonus over 30 years of driving but am getting a company car next month with insurance included - I can't afford to keep my current car there doing nothing so I will sell it
What happens to my current insurance policy - can I get a refund or I remember reading sometime ago that a policy can be frozen if so does anyone know how long for - and could I transfer it to a classic car - which I've been meaning to buy for years - nothing fancy just an old Austin or Ford or similar
Would be nice to have an idea before I contact my insurers everything always seems to be on their terms and to their advantage :(
Thanks
Paul
