Minimum age playing bingo for cash?

Is there such a thing? We have bingo in the village hall once a week & there are often a few kiddies there age 9, 10, 12 with adults. Several people there say they are breaking the law by allowing them to take part & possibly win money. I said I would post on here for advice as I personally haven't any idea.
