my friend recently got a £80 fixed penalty notice for minor theft, he paid the fine within the time limit but is moving to canada. it will obviously show up on his police certificate but will it stop him from being able to live in the country???

Hi I can confirm eddie is right, once the FPN is paid it does not show as a conviction.
