Is Restraining Order Broken

My friend has a restraining order from a magistrate court last year In October he want for a child contact hearing where the civil judge asked,the mum to vary the restraining order And in the interim to communicate via there children and a communication book for contact and child welfare is he allowed to this the original restraining order said no indirect or direct contact with partner .

I thought he had a hearing coming up about contact by text? I'd advise him not to break the injunction, but wait until it's been changed officially.

The civil judge has ordered they can communicate via book in the interim she agreed that also at civil hearing

Yes that's a hearing for txt but in the interim it was agreed at civil hearing to communicate via book
