The case will continue without your statement the photos of the injuries are enough evidence on their own. This is because it is so common ( almost normal) in domestic violence cases for the victim to withdraw their statement.
If you are summoned to court as a witness you HAVE to attend , you can be arrested and broughtto court if you refuse. If you refuse to speak the court may assume it is because you are too scared to talk, this will make things worse for your partner. It is not likedly that he will go to jail for this especially if you go to court and say that you want to stay with him and try to make it work.

Thanks for the information it happened in jersey the channel islands I'm now back in UK he is going not guilty cold they make me go back to the island there is no proof like u said that he did it I mean I have withdrew my statement saying I was drunk and don't know what happened but my original statement says he punched me awful situation to be in can they use my first statement please help xx
You can not 'withdraw' a statement once you have made it. When people talk of withdrawing a statement what actually happens it that you make a second statement saying why the first one was wrong and what you now say happened or why you no longer want to continue the case. The original statement still exists and can be used but the second one has to be read with the first one.
Yes if the case is heard in the channel islands and you are summoned as a witness you have to go back there, but you will get your expenses paid.
