How can he give you money if he doesn't have any?
as ummm says, what would be the point in pursuing him for more money if he doesn't have any?
also, doesn't the decree have the final word on all arrangements?

Blood from a stone comes to mind.
its sometime possible to ask for a change of maintenance for a child, but if there is no more money, then why ask?
Maybe a stupid question, but have you thought about asking him for more?

The decree absolute is the end of the marriage once that has been granted there is no legal connection between the 2 parties. Too late to change the arrangements. You could ask him if he will voluntarily give you more but it is up to him he does not have to.
Too late now, ellie - once the Absolute has gone through, that's the end of it. As the others have said, if he has no assets, then there's none to give you anyway. Move on.
Why do you feel he should give you more money, it sounds like you want to ruin him.
Maybe Elley is struggling to make ends meet raising the child/ren.
